Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking an on-site Communications Operator II to answer, screen, and relay calls, and process STAT code requests through the switchboard. You will monitor alarm systems, manage notifications for 911, emergency management, fire panels, and related paging and security systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining daily call logs, assisting with training of new staff, and coordinating call schedules across clinical and support services such as Facilities Engineering,

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answer, screen, and relay calls.
• Processes all notification of STAT code requests
• Monitors alarm systems including, but not limited to; 911 calls, emergency management radio system, fire alarm panels, emergency generator and medical gasses panels, paging system, panic alarms, and infant security alarms.
• Process all requests for first responder notifications
• Completes and maintains daily call logs.
• Operator II-Assist with training of new staff as requested.
• Maintains call schedules including, but not limited to: Facilities Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Surgery - OR, PACU, Perfusion, First Assist – CVOR, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, IR RN, IR Techs, Nuclear Medicine, Anesthesia, CRNA, Spiritual, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Physical Therapy, Sterile Processing, Dialysis, Physician schedules (PS)
