Job summary

Providence's Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in California is seeking a Dispatcher who coordinates service requests for Support Services, dispatches tasks to staff via the work order system, and coordinates patient transports.

You will monitor alarm systems, coordinate emergency codes with departments, and ensure timely telecommunication support across both Mission Hospital campuses.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in customer service, dispatching or operator functions.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1 year Hospital PBX or Call Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service requests for Support Services and dispatch assignments to staff via work order system.
• Coordinate patient transports by monitoring transport requests and directing activities of transporters.
• Monitor and respond to alarm systems and coordinate emergency codes/alerts with departments.
