Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates central switchboard to answer and route calls and communicate codes and alerts.
• Uses desk directories, on-call lists and reference guides to provide information per policy.
• Receives and relays internal and external calls and troubleshoots system issues when needed.
• Operates beeper and paging system to contact hospital personnel and code team.
• Communicates codes, alerts and announcements according to policy, including disaster plans.
