Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Switchboard Operator for the on-site Call Center. You will answer calls across hospital lines, forward messages, and contact physicians and staff as needed to ensure timely communication.

You’ll monitor alarms, coordinate with external agencies, and provide after-hours coverage in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, problem solving, and professional demeanor, with shift 1:00pm–9:30pm and every other weekend rotation, supporting

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in telephone operations, Call Center, customer service or related environment required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.
• Proficient working with technology and possess a problem solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to all hospital lines and determine resolution.
• Forward calls appropriately and contact physicians and staff as requested.
• Monitor alarm systems and notify agencies as per policy.
• Provide after-hours and weekend answering service and support the Manager, Call Center.
