Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking an operator services and dispatch professional to support police dispatch, emergency monitoring, and alert paging for physicians, visitors, and staff.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, handling multi-line calls, monitoring alarms, and ensuring timely notifications across campus. A minimum of 6 months in phone/radio dispatch is required, with healthcare exposure preferred.

• Proficient computer skills and basic system operations.

• Minimum 6 months experience in multi-line phone operation and radio dispatching; healthcare/ hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls with courtesy and accuracy.
• Attend safety training and complete required safety courses.
• Dispatch personnel during emergencies and notify via paging, radio, or digital tools.
• Maintain activity logs for police, engineering, and staff as required.
• Monitor alarms and fire/panic systems; respond per policy.
• Provide dispatching for departments using two-way campus radios.
• Other duties as assigned.
