Guidehouse is seeking a Hospital Admissions Representative in Culver City, CA to obtain and verify demographic and financial information, assign medical records, and support accurate billing and clinical data.

This part-time role includes night shifts, three weekends per month and rotating holidays; requires high school diploma and 0–2 years in medical or customer service environments, with possible BLS certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years in medical setting or heavy customer service environment with data entry and insurance topics.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data, obtain pre-certification or authorization numbers, and update files.
• Notify patients of insurance issues, co-pays, and deposits; document in system.
• Review orders for completion and ensure required information is listed.
• Ensure Medicare compliance and ABN when needed.
• Maintain multiple computer systems and professional customer service.
• Answer calls and follow scripts; assist callers.
• Complete shift duties timely and accurately.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
