Qualifications

• Heart to serve patients and families with compassion.
• Education: High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years in health care or hospice; volunteer coordination or recruiting preferred.
• Able to work with, manage, motivate, mentor and recruit a diverse range of individuals.
• Required: Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the hospice volunteer program.
• Build and maintain volunteer services aligned with hospice goals.
• Mentor and recruit volunteers; coordinate schedules and activities.
• Facilitate meaningful patient experiences through volunteer involvement.
