Job summary

Agape Care Group is seeking a Spiritual Care Coordinator to provide compassionate spiritual support that honors patient beliefs and values within our hospice environment. You will guide patients and families, offering comfort and dignity while collaborating with care teams.

Ideal candidates have a health care or hospice background, a relevant degree, and strong commitment to compassionate care. This role is office- or facility-based at locations within our care network.

Qualifications

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Bachelor's degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field. Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting required. Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying.
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs.

• Provide spiritual support and guidance that honors the patient’s beliefs and values.
• Support patients and families with dignity and compassion in a hospice care setting.
• Collaborate with leadership and care teams to deliver meaningful experiences.
