Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Clinical Hospice Liaison to establish new business contacts, maintain relationships, and implement a sales and marketing plan.

The role focuses on driving admissions, managing referrals across physicians and facilities, and maintaining CRM records. Travel 50%+ within the territory is expected while developing strong client relationships in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year healthcare, business development, or related industry experience.
• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of service; MSW, LCSW, PT, OT, SLP or PA credentials may be applicable.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieves admissions and payor-mix goals and meets target account goals.
• Maintains up-to-date records of referrals across physicians, hospitals, SNFs and case managers in CRM.
• Documents minimum sales calls daily in CRM with pre/post-call notes.
• Assists the care center with the referral-to-admission process.
• Develops and maintains client relationships in a competitive marketplace.
• Prepares business plans and prioritizes accounts per the market sales plan.
• Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Travel 50% or more within the territory.
