Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to join a compassionate IDT team. You will perform routine and emergency assessments, manage plans of care, and educate patients and families to maximize comfort and quality of life.

This role requires an RN license in Oregon, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; hospice/home health experience is preferred. The position offers competitive hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to ethical

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year nursing practice or equivalent experience preferred.
• Hospice, oncology, home health and/or long‑term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes routine and emergency assessments on each patient as indicated by policy.
• Provides clinical and psycho-social services as indicated by plan of care.
• Records observations, treatments, and other pertinent information.
• Communicates with IDT, Medical Director and attending physician regarding symptom relief and response.
• Educates patient and caregiver on care, disease process, dying process, and wound care.
• Case management of routine and emergency patient care; collaborates with IDT.
• Maintains thorough documentation at bedside and submits required reports promptly.
