Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in a home-based care setting. You will perform routine and emergency assessments, collaborate with the IDT, and provide clinical and psycho-social support to patients and families, aiming to maintain comfort and dignity.

The role requires nursing eligibility, a current RN license, and CPR certification, with after-hours on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling to meet agency needs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of one (1) year nursing practice or equivalent experience preferred.
• Active RN license in state(s) of employment and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency assessments per policy.
• Provide clinical and psycho-social services per care plan.
• Record observations and treatments accurately.
• Communicate with IDT and physicians to alleviate symptoms and adjust care.
