Job summary

Compassus in Seattle is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver person-centered, home-based hospice care. The role emphasizes assessments, Plan of Care creation with the IDG, and ongoing patient support in the home setting.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and the IDG, document care thoroughly, and participate in on-call duties. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new teammates and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year of hospice RN experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment of patients and families to determine Hospice needs.
• Creates and initiates the Plan of Care with the IDG and updates it as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed per Plan of Care.
• Documents clinical notes accurately and maintains patient records.
• Participates in on-call duties and supports team education.
