Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to provide routine and emergency assessments at the patient’s home, collaborating with the IDT to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. The RN will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate with medical staff, and participate in after-hours on-call coverage to ensure comfort and symptom management.

Requirements include an RN license, CPR, and a background in hospice or related fields.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Experience in hospice, oncology, home health or long-term care preferred.
• Active RN license and CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and emergency assessments for patients in home hospice care.
• Deliver clinical and psycho-social services per plan of care.
• Document observations, treatments and care provided at patient’s home.
• Communicate with IDT, Medical Director, and attending physician to alleviate symptoms.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patient and family in the home.
• Coordinate with IDT to ensure continuity and quality of hospice care.
