Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver person-centered home-based care. You will assess patients and families, develop and direct plans of care with the IDG, and provide nursing services with empathy and clinical excellence.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in on-call duties, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting families through end-of-life care. Applicable licensure and BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or BSN in nursing required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient/family assessment to determine hospice needs.
• Writes and initiates Plan of Care with IDG collaboration.
• Regularly reevaluates needs and revises the Plan of Care.
• May administer medications per approved Plan of Care.
