Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a healthcare business development professional to grow referral networks and educate partners across physicians, hospitals, and senior living communities. You will navigate post-acute care transitions and collaborate to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, presentation skills, and knowledge of regulatory guidelines, with in-office attendance emphasized in most settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Equivalent years of experience considered in lieu of degree requirements.
• Minimum two years of healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of Medicare certified home health and hospice operation laws and guidelines.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• If clinical, must maintain clinical license per state rules.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or post-acute care preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and HCHB preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources.
• Educate referral sources and patients about services and program requirements.
• Support referral growth and navigate post-acute care transitions.
• Aim to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction with care transitions.
• Promote compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
