Job summary

Madrona Hospice Care Inc. is seeking a Hospice Marketer / Community Liaison to develop and maintain professional referral relationships and generate hospice referrals within the California service area.

You will serve as a liaison among hospitals, SNFs, physician offices, and community healthcare partners, while ensuring ethical, compliant practices. The role requires in-person visits, territory planning, and ongoing marketing activities to grow appropriate hospice awareness and admissions, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in hospice, home health, hospital sales or business development preferred.
• Existing relationships with healthcare referral sources within the assigned territory desirable.
• Knowledge of hospice services and Medicare hospice benefit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new hospice referral sources within the territory.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with referral partners.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to hospitals, SNFs, and clinics.
• Identify patients who may benefit from hospice and facilitate referrals.
• Educate partners about hospice philosophy, levels of care, and referral process.
• Coordinate with intake/clinical teams to respond to referrals.
