Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Physician Account Executive to grow admissions within a defined book of physician practices, focusing on primary care, geriatrics, oncology, cardiology, and other key specialties. This high-energy hunter will open new accounts, deepen existing ones, and collaborate with providers and staff to ensure timely admissions.

You will prospect daily, secure referrals, and manage relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and practice managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business is strongly preferred.
Five or more years of outside sales experience, healthcare sales preferred.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and maintaining active pipelines.

Responsibilities

Grow hospice admissions within an assigned book of physician practices.
Prospect daily through cold calls, meetings, and in-services to access physicians and decision-makers.
Secure referrals and partner with operations to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
Meet or exceed weekly performance goals including new account activations and referral conversions.
Build trust-based relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and practice staff to drive growth.
