Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding relationships with physicians and healthcare teams. You will promote Compassus values and ensure timely, appropriate admissions while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires strong sales skills, resilience, and the ability to navigate emotional conversations with patients and families. Evening and weekend availability may be required to support patients in need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow Compassus market share by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and ensure rapid patient admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity with tenure-based expectations.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure clinically-eligible patients are admitted timely.
