Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones. You will secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to rapidly admit clinically eligible patients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of successful sales in healthcare, strong CRM skills, and the ability to handle emotionally sensitive conversations with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience with proven track record.
• CRM experience to drive growth.
• Experience in Hospice/Home Health/Healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones within a defined book of business.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and ensure rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emotional times.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours to meet patient needs.
• Relay feedback to operations to improve service quality and referral relationships.
