Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for PPV who will provide care across palliative and hospice settings, collaborating with the Medical Director and IDT to optimize patient comfort and outcomes. The role requires administering assessments, education, and symptom management while adhering to Compassus' values and compliance standards.

The NP will flex schedule to meet agency needs and may perform after-hours visits as required, serving patients across various care settings in alignment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment required.
• Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency assessments and manage care plans.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Attending Physician, DCS and IDT to coordinate care.
• Provide education on disease processes, symptom management, and end‑of‑life care when applicable.

Education

Master’s degree in Nursing
