Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a results-driven business development professional to expand referral networks and improve patient census. The role involves field visits to hospitals, nursing facilities, physicians and care communities to promote end-of-life services and strengthen referral relationships.

You will prepare targeted sales plans, conduct presentations, and coordinate with the Access Department to expedite referrals, while using the CRM to track activity and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years experience in a health care environment with physicians, hospitals, and/or residential care communities; includes marketing, customer service and sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare an individual sales plan aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Develop a tactical approach for each prospective customer, facility, physician, or hospitalist.
• Conduct regular visits to targeted accounts to increase awareness and use of services.
• Deliver large and small group presentations as subject matter expert.
• Coordinate with Access Department to expedite referrals and inform patients/families as needed.
• Maintain and update the CRM with call activity within 24 hours of visits.
• Gather customer insights, identify partnerships, and promote additional services.
