Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources. You will drive growth within your book of business, securing referrals and collaborating with operations to admit eligible patients quickly and appropriately.

You will meet aggressive weekly goals, maintain a patient-centered approach, and provide education to partners about hospice care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and growing accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive continued growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top-performing sales professionals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admission of clinically-eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity on pace with company expectations.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families, and be available after hours to ensure timely care.
