Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to drive admissions and expand the book of business by building strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources in Missouri. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, 5+ years in healthcare sales, and outstanding relationship management.

You will handle emotional conversations with professionalism, stay organized under pressure, and promote timely, high‑quality hospice care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Five+ years of successful sales experience in healthcare/hospice or related fields.
• Proven ability to grow new accounts and maintain long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones within the book of business.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly admissions and market share growth goals.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during sensitive times.
• Be available outside standard hours to support patient needs and referrals.
• Gather feedback from referral sources and drive improvements with operations.
