Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy in Richland, WA is seeking a Hospice Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple roles, including direct patient care, intake, triage, admission, and case management.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires WA RN license, CPR/BLS, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Compensation ranges from $42.67 to $62.22 per hour, plus premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Washington state.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to drive within service area.
• This position is Safety Sensitive and requires a pre-employment drug screen, including cannabis testing.
• Washington State Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive nursing care across multiple roles within the agency, ensuring continuity and quality of care for hospice patients.
• Flexibility to support Hospice Direct Patient Care, Intake, Triage, Admission, and Case Management.
• Supports in-home patient and family services in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
