Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is seeking a Hospice Visit RN for the NOC shift in Richland, WA. The role covers evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring continuity of care for hospice patients and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and comfort at the end of life.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with a WA license, strong communication, and EMR proficiency, capable of independent decision-making while delivering compassionate care in challenging times.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Washington State license as Registered Nurse.
• At least two years of post-education nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or oncology.
• Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to work independently under pressure.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and intermediate computer skills.
• Certification in CPR/BLS; pre-employment drug screen required.
• Washington State Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent medical needs during non-business hours (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Manage symptoms and provide patient-centered comfort for hospice patients.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain high standards of compassionate care and support for patients and families.
