Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is seeking a compassionate Hospice Visit RN for the NOC shift in Richland, WA. This full-time, non-exempt role provides patient-centered care during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring comfort and symptom management for patients at the end of life.

The ideal candidate holds a WA RN license, has 2+ years of nursing experience (hospice/oncology preferred), and is proficient with EMR systems. CPR/BLS and WA Food Worker Card are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Washington State RN license.
• At least two years of post-education nursing experience (hospice/oncology preferred).
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure in urgent situations.
• Must be available evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems and intermediate computer skills.
• This position is Safety Sensitive. Must pass pre-employment drug screen including cannabis testing in Washington State.
• Certification in CPR/BLS and WA Food Worker Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during non-business hours.
• Respond to urgent medical needs and manage symptoms for hospice patients.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Support patients and families during end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
