Affinity Care of Sarasota is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Clinical Care team, managing the electronic medical records system and assisting back-office functions including billing, payroll, HR and intake.

The role includes training new Coordinators, data entry, mail handling, patient and colleague support, confidentiality of PHI, and participation in IDG meetings. Strong organizational skills required.

Formación

• High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
• At least two years health care experience, preferably in hospice.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
• HCHB/Pointcare knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Applications.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately enters data into information systems.
• Executes workflow functions in electronic medical record system.
• Verifies data accuracy with Clinical Manager(s) and/or Clinical Director.
• Manages incoming/outgoing interoffice mail and communications.
• Provides customer support to patients and colleagues via phone, email and fax.
• Alerts management to potential compliance issues.
• Maintains PHI confidentiality at all times.
• Participates in IDG meetings and supports regional coordinators.
