Job summary

Affinity Care of Sarasota is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Clinical Care team, manage the electronic medical records system, and assist with back-office functions including billing, payroll, HR and intake.

You will train new coordinators, ensure data accuracy, handle interoffice mail, support patients and colleagues by phone, email or fax, alert management to potential compliance issues, and protect PHI at all times while coordinating IDG meeting

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare experience, hospice preferred.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, and teamwork.
• Experience with HCHB/Pointcare is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into information systems accurately.
• Run workflows in the electronic medical record system.
• Verify data accuracy with Clinical Managers/Director.
• Manage incoming/outgoing interoffice mail.
• Provide patient and colleague support by phone, email, and fax.
• Support compliance reporting and protect PHI confidentiality.
