Job summary

Enhabit, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Business Development professional to manage relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, and health systems. You will educate partners about Enhabit services and programs to drive referrals and improve patient transitions.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic outreach, and knowledge of Medicare/home health regulations; in-office attendance is essential to collaborate with teams and maintain partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field; or graduate in nursing/therapy/social work.
• Minimum two years in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of Medicare/home health regulations (federal, state, local).
• Valid driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• If clinical: license required per state rules.
• Experience in home health, hospice or post-acute care preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and HCHB preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals, or senior communities preferred.
• Dependable transportation; able to drive in all weather.
• Fluent in English; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary relationship manager with referral sources incl. physicians, hospitals, and health systems.
• Grow referrals by educating source patients and partners about Enhabit services and programs.
• Support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
