Job summary

Enhabit, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Business Development professional to manage and grow relationships with physicians, hospitals and senior living communities.

You will educate referral sources about Enhabit services and program requirements to drive growth and ensure smooth post-acute transitions. The role emphasizes strong communication, strategic relationship-building, and knowledge of Medicare home health and hospice operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or graduate of approved nursing/therapy/social work; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license required if applicable.
• Preferred experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related healthcare services.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources.
• Educate referral sources, patients, families and partners about Enhabit services and program requirements to drive referrals.
• Support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
