Affinity Hospice Management LLC in Pittsburgh seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide to work under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing personal care per each patient’s plan of care to promote comfort and safety. You will report observations and care performed to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and daily living tasks, while maintaining confidentiality and documenting care.

Competenze

• State-approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training.
• Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (hands-on, not online-only).
• Current Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and respond to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate with patients and families with confidentiality and respect.
• Maintain safety and use equipment correctly.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist in dressing and feeding; avoid homemade foods by patients.
• Monitor skin and report changes to the RN Case Manager.
• Assist with ambulation and range of motion as instructed.
• Support with self-administered medications as allowed by state rules.
• Keep patient living area clean and orderly and report concerns.
