Job summary

Affinity Hospice Holdings, LLC is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our nationally recognized team. You will work under a registered nurse to assist patients in their homes, perform personal care, observe and report patient conditions, and ensure comfort and dignity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, state-certified training, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with insured vehicle. Full-time position with flexible scheduling and local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Meet state training and certification requirements.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attend to requests promptly.
• Meet safety needs of patients and use equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.).
• Perform personal care tasks including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as assigned.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Assist in feeding the patient as assigned.
• Assess and report on patients’ condition and significant changes to the case manager.
• Adhere to documentation and care procedures and standards of conduct.
• The CNA will not administer medications or perform procedures requiring a licensed nurse.
