Affinity Hospice is seeking a compassionate hospice aide (CNA) to join our team under the supervision of a registered nurse, delivering personal care to promote patient comfort and documenting observations for the care team.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Home visits, holiday and weekend rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meet state training and certification requirements.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Perform personal care tasks per patient assignment.
• Meet safety needs of patients using equipment properly.
• Assist with baths, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Help with dressing, feeding, and mobility as assigned.
• Assess and report patient condition changes to the case manager.
• Follow documentation and care procedures.
• The hospice aide will not function in any manner viewed as the practice of nursing; does not administer medications.
• Perform other CNA duties to support department goals and initiatives.
