Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients in their homes under RN supervision. You will perform personal care tasks, monitor patient conditions, and document observations to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable insured vehicle. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel locally, with flexibility for holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion are essential to support patients and families.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR certification must be current and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance as assigned, promptly addressing patient requests.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment (foot stools, side rails, oxygen, etc.).
• Perform bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, hair care, and bed linen changes as needed.
