Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care with dignity and compassion for patients at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs in patients' homes or care settings.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, active CNA certificate, CPR if required, valid driver's license, and at least one year of CNA experience in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting. Hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being of patients.
• Assist with Personal Care: Bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and patient satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families caring for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record details per plan of care and regulatory standards.
