Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands‑on care in end‑of‑life settings. You will work closely with the hospice team to deliver dignified, individualized care per the plan of care at the patient’s home or facility.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meals, homemaking and accurate documentation. Required CNA and CPR certifications, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current state certification (or registration) as a CNA
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance
• Preferred CNA experience within the last two years

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients
• Assists with mobility, transfers and activities of daily living
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned
• Observes and reports changes in patient status
• Follows written care instructions from a registered nurse
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist
• Performs simple urine tests as directed
• Other duties as assigned
