Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a hospice aide to provide compassionate in-home care for patients on a PRN daytime schedule. You will support daily living activities, monitor comfort, and help with routine tasks in patients' homes.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA CNA license, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and CNA experience within the last two years. This position offers flexible hours and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Active PA CNA license is required.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and body mechanics during care and transfers.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follow written care instructions from a registered nurse.
• Assists with prescribed exercises and basic tests as directed.
