Job summary

Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a hospice aide to provide personal care and comfort to patients at home. Full-time day shifts preferred; experience in home health or hospice within the last 12 months is a plus. Must hold PA CNA license and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing changes in condition, documenting care, and following RN plans. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant (CNA).
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, ROM, positioning, and homemaking tasks.
• Follows written care plans and documents tasks performed.
• Supports prescribed exercises and performs simple urine tests as instructed.
