Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse, with a License in good standing to practice in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in the last three years; or have a bachelor’s degree in nursing with two years’ experience (preferred).
• On-call duties may be required and caseload coverage is expected.

Aufgaben

• Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Develop and revise the plan of care based on patient status and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Counsel patients and families and provide health education.
• Coordinate patient care as Case Manager when assigned.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Report changes in patient condition to physicians and health authorities as required.
• Ensure safe environment and continuity of care with family/caregiver involvement.
• Participate in on-call duties and ensure necessary equipment and services are available.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the team.
