Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a motivated Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about hospice care. You will build trusted relationships and guide referral sources through prognostication and the value proposition of hospice for families facing serious illness.

You’ll work with clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time, while growing your territory and professional impact in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred
• Participated in competitive team environment that involved individual accountability and teamwork
• Able to demonstrate examples on critical thinking and created solutions
• Past military service a plus
• Hospice experience preferred but, not required
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrates track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with physician, healthcare leaders & professionals
• Confidently guide referral sources through understanding the prognostication, the value proposition of hospice & how to have effective conversations for families facing serious illness
• Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit
• Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
