Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a Business Office Coordinator to manage the office, billing, payroll, and related administrative activities for the program. You will promote our core values and ensure compliance with hospice policy while coordinating with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with EMR or practice management systems, with potential for progression into people management.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates cross-department communication to ensure the right subject matter experts are involved.
• Provides back office training support to staff.
• Coordinates training with Homebase, Promise Point modules, and Cerner manuals.
• Audits prebilling batches weekly and submits invoices promptly to AP.
• Maintains accurate financial records including accounts payable and deposits.
