Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement preferred.
• Experience in office management helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communications between departments to ensure subject matter expert input.
• Provides back office assistance with training.
• Aligns clinical team with training using Homecare Homebase, Promise Point modules, or iConnect manuals.
• Troubleshoots when users experience difficulty with the application.
• Maintains updated financial records including accounts payable and deposits.
• Documents donations and memorials per Compassus policy.
• Pulls and audits prebilling batches at least weekly.
• Submits invoices to accounts payable and ensures timely payment to capture discounts.
