Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking an experienced Home Health Business Office Manager who will model Compassus values and oversee the business office operations, including billing for reimbursement, payroll, and administrative quality improvement.

This role ensures accuracy of financial records, manages onboarding, coordinates with HR and payroll, maintains licensing records, EMR entries, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting a collaborative, patient-centered home

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of office experience with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated financial records (accounts payable, deposits).
• Ensure ED sign-off on invoices before sending to Accounts Payable.
• Order office supplies and equipment as directed.
• Oversee monthly reconciliation for Compassus purchasing cards.
• Assign workflow tasks, train new users, and ensure timely EMR reporting.
