Job summary

AccentCare in Newark, DE is seeking a Director of Business Development for Hospice to lead growth strategies, partner with clinical and sales teams, and expand our community access to compassionate in-home hospice care throughout Delaware.

The role emphasizes field leadership of Hospice Care Consultants, managing quarterly quotas, completing ride-along feedback, and delivering regular updates to leadership while maintaining compliance and patient‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Sales or related field preferred.
• Experience in hospice, home health, healthcare sales, or community development.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work with diverse teams and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hospice Care Consultants (HCC) in the field at least three days weekly.
• Complete ride-along forms for each HCC visit and report to HCC and ED.
• Manage quotas for HCC and Clinical Liaison; report deviations by the 15th of the month before the quarter.
• Lead weekly team meetings in-office or in-field; review reports and activity dashboards.
