Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Director of Business Development, Hospice in Newark, Delaware, to lead growth initiatives across the state. You will cultivate referral partnerships, drive market strategy, and lead a field team delivering compassionate hospice care.

The role requires a marketing/sales background, experience in hospice or home health, and strong communication and leadership skills. You’ll manage field-based staff, monitor referrals, and collaborate with executives to grow access to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in hospice, home health, healthcare sales and/or community development.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work with a variety of people and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Works in the field managing Hospice Care Consultants (HCC) at a minimum of three days a week.
• Complete ride along forms for each HCC and deliver to HCC and Executive Director.
• Manage the quota of each HCC and Clinical Liaison and report variances by the 15th of the month before the new quarter.
• Lead weekly team meetings, review Amplicare Reports, and monitor referral activity.
