Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Hospice Aide in Virginia to provide compassionate personal care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include bathing, mobility assistance, meals, and documenting observations per the patient’s plan of care.

Must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant license, have a High School Diploma or GED, and demonstrate basic EMR skills. Minimum 1 year hospice/home health experience preferred. LPN/RN supervision available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license and complete state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Comfort with hospice philosophy and terminally ill patients.
• 1 year home health/hospice experience preferred.
• Basic EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Communicate with patient, family, and care team with confidentiality.
• Adhere to safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Support feeding and mobility per plan of care.
• Report changes to RN Case Manager and document care.
