Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nursing Aide to provide in-home care, assisting patients with daily activities, bathing, and hygiene while supporting families in managing care plans. You will collaborate with a supervising RN to monitor patient progress and address family needs in a home setting.

The role requires a valid state CNA registry status and CPR certification, with ongoing training and a commitment to safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting.
• Or 1 year direct client care in home health or hospice in the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing and wound care.
• Support families by instructing on basic home care routines.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to monitor patient progress and family needs.
