Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Thibodaux, LA is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide personal care and assist with homemaking tasks in line with state and federal regulations.

This role supports the patient’s comfort and well-being in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. As a valued team member, you’ll join an interdisciplinary group and collaborate with supervisors and co-workers to address patient needs, care, and concerns while fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting.
• Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with homemaking tasks in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate and follow up with supervisor and co-workers regarding patient needs, care, or concerns.
• Promote positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff

Job Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance with homemaking tasks in accordance with state and federal regulations
