Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Thibodaux, LA is hiring a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care and support within an interdisciplinary team.

You will follow state and federal regulations while assisting with daily living activities and patient comfort. Qualifications

Job Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance with homemaking tasks in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate and follow up with supervisor and co-workers regarding patient needs, care, or concerns
• Promote positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
• Successful completion of a formal certification training program or a written skills test and competency evaluation
• Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting
• CPR Certified
• Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license and auto insurance
