Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Alexandria, LA is hiring a Full-Time Hospice Aide CNA. You will provide compassionate personal care and support as part of an interdisciplinary team, with duties aligned to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or equivalency
• Complete a formal cert training program or pass a written skills test
• Minimum 6 months' experience in direct care
• Current CPR certification required
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with personal care and homemaking assistance per state and federal regulations
• Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team
• Communicate and follow up with supervisors and coworkers regarding patient needs, care, and concerns
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff

Qualifications:
